Jeremiah really knows his stuff when it comes to Lake Wanaka, the surrounding areas and the history. Seeing the lake from the shoreline can’t beat this thrill of a boat ride around the lake and onto the gorgeous turquoise blue water show of the Clutha River- I would recommend it to anybody visiting Wanaka!"
AMBERP03 - Trip Advisor - 12/4/2020
The trip takes you along a beautiful river with a lot of hidden treasures and history. I would recommend them if you want to experience a unique Jet boat ride in New Zealand!"

Very easy to operate, but exciting to ride on. We went out onto Lake Wanaka and visited one of the bigger islands, where the guide gave us an explanation about the history. We were free to experiment on the jet ski and try different moves, as well as going fast! Well worth doing, and am thinking about getting one myself now!"
FORD GP - Trip Advisor - 12/4/2020
We paddled slowly around the shoreline to waterfall creek and back with lots of time to stop along the way."
KYLIE O- Trip Advisor - 12/4/2020
We learned a ton about the area during this ride, amidst the thrills. The Clutha is not a narrow-gorge river, so the excitement comes from running rapids and close to smooth-beach shorelines, as well as the gorgeous water itself. A full hour on the water, super-chill, with a terrific explanation of area history, the boat itself and its workings, and the river. Both fascinating and adrenaline pumping."
DOUG D - Trip Advisor - 12/4/2020
Jeremiah was a fantastic guide taking us to some beautiful parts of the lake that you wouldn't see any other way, all while having great fun on the jet skis on the way!!"

Fresh water is our greatest natural asset. It is crucial to our way of life, our environment and our economy.
We value it for recreation and spiritual wellbeing. For Ngai Tahu, the rivers and lakes are considered ancestors. Each waterway has its own mauri (life force), creating a deep connection between Māori people and the natural environment.
Generations have built a way of life around our waterways, boating, fishing and swimming in New Zealand’s pristine aquatic environments. Whether you live in the city or the country, water quality matters to all of us and we have a responsibility to ensure that protect our greatest asset.
What time do you close?
Times vary with the seasons. In winter on a fine day you can expect to find us down at the lake front from 10am to 4pm Tuesday -Sunday whereas in the peak of summer you can find us there every day 9am-6pm.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend sunscreen all year round and dressing for the weather, but for information specific to your trip check out the FAQ on your specific activities page.
Do I need to book my tour?
Yes, if you are planning to arrive in time for a trip then it’s best you let us know
Why do I need to check in 15min before my booked trip and what happens if I am late?
Sometimes guests arrive underprepared for their trip, checking in early allows time for us to recommend another layer, return loose item to your car and ensure you are ready, also some trips have a waiver to read prior to departure. The trips leave on the hour and can not wait; for those who turned up on time and ready for their trip, it is unfair to make them wait longer. If you arrive in time for your trip but not ready to go, i.e. not dressed appropriately for the weather, you may not be allowed to board.
Where can I park?
There are lots of parks along the lake front but please allow time to find one, especially in the peak of the season as there may be a shortage.
The trip I want has no availability?
You can still book and be placed on the waiting list; we will get in touch and see if we can make arrangements to you on the trip you want.
