Our kayak freedom rentals are available from Roys Bay on Lake Wanaka providing multiple options of duration and destinations. Cruise around the shore lines for an hour of play time or explore further and discover Ruby Island for 2-3 hours. We have a range of both double and single sit on kayaks plus stand up paddle boards. At all times we have a number of safety vessels able to assist with any rescues if required.
Our school group rates are $25pp for 1 hour session, $40pp for 2 hour group sessions and $55 for 3 hour group session.

Want something a little more on the adventurous side? Towed inflatable rides are available from single riders up to our 12 person banana boat. Towed water sports can be offered behind our Jet Skis or powered boat.
Capacity - Banana boat can run around 30 students per hour.

Make a day of adventures - Jet Boat the Clutha River (1 hour), Kayak to Ruby Island and explore (2 hours) plus have some fun on our group banana boat (1 hour). Depending on your group size we may need to have half of your group doing one activity i.e. Jet Boating while the other is kayaking.
Our school group combo rates are $125pp for all 3 activities; jet boat, kayak plus banana boat rides. - extra time may be added for kayaking and banana boating on request.

Our kayak gear is available for dry hire providing you options to take our gear and use it how you need. This can be particularly handy for groups set up at a camping ground at the Lake letting you provide activities right on site. We do have options to provide on shore safety staff with rescue vessels if required also.
Our school group offsite rates are $100 per day for single kayaks, $200 per day for double kayaks and $100 per day for Stand Up Paddleboards.

Want something a little more on the adventurous side? With fully qualified skippers and coaching for all ages we have the choice of water skiing, wakeboarding , towed inflatables and flyboard instructions. Towed water sports can be offered behind our Jet Skis or powered boat with water skiing and wakeboarding only available for one rider at a time.

Capacity - Maximum 10 students per day on waterski’s or wakeboard,

How many students can we take at any one time?
Generally we have a maximum capacity of 20 students at any one time per activity. This is lower for some activities ie watersports, however we can handle larger groups by spreading students across different activities.
Are all activities guided?
Not all our activities are guided. Our guided tours include the Jet Boat Adventure, banana boat rides and all water sport instructions. Our rental equipment ie kayaks, SUPs, aqua bikes are all supervised from shore with safety vessels on hand for any assistance that may be required.
What locations do we use?
Our main base is on Lake Wanaka's waterfront, however we do have options for different locations due to the mobile nature of our base. We have both our off site equipment hires plus we may be able to bring everything and come to you depending on your location.
