COVID 19

TRAFFIC LIGHT UPDATE : 5th APRIL 2022

Vaccine pass UPDATE - April 2022

The New Zealand Government has announced as of April 5th there will no longer be a requirement to use My Vaccine Pass. This means we can continue to offer our experiences to all guests without the private group restrictions imposed. We also decided to extend our summer specials to celebrate this news and continue to offer experiences to all in these still tough times.

We will still be required to follow the other traffic light system restrictions around staff and guides isolating if infected with Covid 19 so disruptions may occur over the next few weeks.

What to expect at Red:

  • There are no limits for outdoor activities, such as gatherings and events, and food and drink businesses.
  • You do not need to wear a face mask outdoors.
  • There is no requirement to scan in or for a business to display a QR code poster or have mandatory record keeping.

If you are sick or have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, stay home and call your doctor or Healthline on 0800 358 5453 to see if you need a test.

COVID 19 UPDATE - January 2022

New Zealand is entering the traffic light system, which will replace the current Alert Level system. From 26th January, New Zealand is entering Covid alert level red. Following government guidelines, all guests 12yrs + will have to be double vaccinated to participate freely on our experiences including hires.

All guests will be required to have their Vaccine Pass scanned at check-in.

If you have not been vaccinated and do not have an exemption, we regret that for the safety of all our guests, our staff, and our communities, you will not be able to travel with us openly at this time. You will be able to travel on our tours (Jet Boat and Jet Ski only) in private groups only and masks must be worn. These private group trips have fixed prices taking into account we are unable to add other customers to these private tours. If you are not willing to meet these private trip conditions we will help you reschedule your visit to a later date (once you are fully vaccinated), or we will provide you with a full refund if your booking was made prior to 3 December 2021. If your booking was not made directly with us, please talk to your sales agent to apply for a refund.

If you are sick or have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, stay home and call your doctor or Healthline on 0800 358 5453 to see if you need a test.
